Welcome to Method Nutrition (the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, located at https://www.methodnutrition.health/, and any related services provided by Method Nutrition LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Medical Disclaimer (No Medical Advice)

Method Nutrition is not a medical organization or a healthcare provider. The Service provides nutritional information, macro-calculations, and meal suggestions generated by artificial intelligence for educational and informational purposes only. This information is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Consult a Professional: Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or diet.

Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that you are voluntarily choosing to follow any nutritional protocols suggested by the Service and that you do so entirely at your own risk.

2. Accuracy of AI-Generated Information

Our Service uses Artificial Intelligence to identify food from photos and calculate nutritional data. While we strive for accuracy, AI is subject to errors and hallucinations.

  • We do not guarantee that macro-nutritional data, calorie counts, or food identifications are 100% accurate.
  • We do not guarantee that suggested meals are suitable for your specific health needs or allergies.
  • You are solely responsible for verifying the nutritional content of any food you consume.

3. Third-Party Integrations (Instacart & Stripe)

Our Service integrates with third-party providers to enhance your experience:

Payments: All subscriptions are processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe’s Services Agreement.
Grocery Delivery: Our "One-Click Cart" feature redirects you to Instacart. Method Nutrition is not responsible for the accuracy of Instacart’s pricing, the quality of products delivered, or any errors made by Instacart shoppers. Once you leave our site, the terms and privacy policies of the third-party provider apply.

4. Prohibited Conduct & API Abuse

We provide this Service to individual users for personal use. You agree not to:

API Abuse: Attempt to reverse-engineer, "scrape," or programmatically extract data from our underlying AI models, internal APIs, or proprietary systems.

Unauthorized Access: Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, or scripts) to access the Service for any purpose without our express written permission.

System Interference: Circumvent any rate limits, security features, or safety mitigations we have put in place. Any violation of this section will result in the immediate termination of your account without a refund and may subject you to legal action.

5. Subscriptions and Fees

Trial Period: Any 7-day free trial will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.

Billing: Subscription fees are billed on a recurring monthly basis. We reserve the right to change our subscription prices at any time.

Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect immediately and your access to premium features will be revoked at that time.

Refunds: All subscription payments are non-refundable. No pro-rated refunds will be issued for partial billing periods upon cancellation.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Method Nutrition LLC and its members, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service;
  • Any health outcomes, allergic reactions, or medical issues arising from following suggestions provided by the AI;
  • Any errors in grocery orders or deliveries facilitated through third-party integrations.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes relating to them or the Service will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Terms on this website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
